Mass cruise ships with their 2 to 3,000 passengers sail on the stroke of 5pm come what may. With all passengers onboard or maybe not? They have a schedule to keep, money to be made!

Raffles sails only when you are ready and nobody is left behind. It does not have a schedule to keep, let alone money to be made.

It will also not leave incidentally, until the Chief Engineer is totally happy with his machinery and systems, or the Captain can ensure that the weather on the next leg of the voyage is good.

Leaving can be sorrowful, often it is, but your next port of call is just around the corner. And you can always come back!
