What about money, in different countries?

For spending on board Raffles the current plan is for a ships debit card (in €’s) with all retail outlets computerised so that you do not need to carry cash onboard.

For foreign currency to use ashore HSBC, who operate the onboard electronic bank, will arrange with their correspondent banks to have local currencies in cash available for the ships visit, probably via a separate special multi currency ATM. Otherwise the ship will normally carry an amount of convertible hard currencies.

You can of course in most countries now use your bank card in ATM’s ashore.
