How seaworthy is Raffles?

We (and Lloyd’s Register) do not know of any stronger or more seaworthy vessel afloat, with her designed and built to withstand almost any known sea conditions. This said, apart from transits down to the Antarctic from NZ or Chile across the “roaring 40’s”, (about 3 days) she will always avoid bad weather, staying in port or adjusting the program to do so.

She is also only the second double hull passenger ship in history, with first built in the 1860s by Brunel!
