

No, it is not. Typically the sea transits between one stop / port and the next will be measured in hours rather than days. In the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and much of Asia, a voyage of only 8 hours can mean a new country to visit.
The exception of course is Atlantic and Pacific transits when a single voyage could be as much as 15 days plus.
Also when operating in the Antarctic / Arctic regions, where there are no “ports”! Raffles is effectively “at sea” all the time.
